Gardenia : Inventory Management and Warehousing

Gardenia Bread are baked fresh daily so that consumers get the finest quality and freshness bread daily. Usually, bread are sold until the inventory is empty. Gardenia need to do in order to maintain its reputation of ensuring the bread is freshly made. In Malaysia, Gardenia has been actively involved in charitable. Everyday, Gardenia will deliver complimentary fresh breads  to over 61 charitable organizations like folks homes, orphanages and center for disable person. This is the part of the inventory management that Gardenia use and they collaborate with Corporate Social Responsibility where there are specific portion of breads that will make a contribute to this society.

Furthermore, Gardenia also apply computer system to manage its operation such as:
  • tracking inventories
  • record account transaction
  • storing customer's profiles

It is used to make the information runs smoothly and fast. Hence, this method is contemporary for its manufacturing.
